This man is my landlord. For my first 6 months in Canada, he never asked for rent. He gave me all the keys to the house, and I am the one who takes care of the house. While others are paying $600, $700 to 1000$ every month, God used him to bless me without asking me for rent. I clear snow, clean bathrooms, mop floors, and mower the grass. I am the caretaker of his house although and I always help him every day.
Service, humility, commitment, and discipline are my hallmarks. This post is to empower the youth in Africa to learn how to engage in services that will pave the way for them especially those from humble backgrounds. Pride will kill your opportunity and Destiny.
Humility will take you far. You need to let people know what you can do. I respected and honored him as my father. He never treated me badly, he was proud of my culture, my colour and my personality.
There was a time when my Landlord was looking for a job for me. I got my first part-time job in Canada through his recommendations. This man is one of my angels in Canada.
Today, I decided to use this platform to thank him. Gratitude is a must. The reason why most people are not getting help is that they don’t know how to appreciate and honour people in order to build strategic relationships. People are doors, enter with care.
Staying abroad can be sometimes expensive, especially rent. I got a favor in front of God and him. Today, I told him I am done with school, and he became happy and blessed me.
I don’t even know what to say, but as I always say, God is the lifter of men.
Now tell me, if God cannot change your situation. This post is to inspire everyone that your dreams are valid and when you’re about to give up, God will allow people to come to your rescue.
Please like and share with your loved ones. Shalom!
