5 Stages of Love. Most people stop at 3

of love

Love is a complex and multifaceted emotion that encompasses a range of feelings, attitudes, and behaviors. It can vary greatly in intensity and expression depending on the context and individuals involved. Love often involves deep affection, care, compassion, and attachment towards someone or something. It can be romantic, familial, platonic, or even extend to love for humanity, nature, or abstract concepts. Love can bring joy, fulfillment, and a sense of belonging, but it can also involve challenges, sacrifices, and vulnerability. Ultimately, love is a fundamental aspect of human experience that has been explored and celebrated in various forms throughout history, literature, art, and philosophy.

Here are the 5 stages of love, although, most people stop at 3.

Stage 1. Falling in love

In this first stage of love, your hormones run slowly, you flirt; get butterflies in your stomach and heart, lose your hair back often and laugh a lot more. Falling in love makes you glow. Full of playfulness and passion. Stage one of love often called the honeymoon stage, tends to be everyone’s favourite because it’s fun.

Stage 2. Getting serious

Enter stage 2, you still make a great couple You hold hands in the park and cuddle up together to watch a movie But something has changed. You have moved in together, maybe even got married. That fun time has run its course and your relationship has entered the serious zone.

Stage 3. What happened?

What happened? Did you fall out of love? By this point, all illustrations have been stripped away. You find yourself arguing more. Romance seems like work and you can’t be bothered and squeeze in the time. You just want it to end. Most people do just that – end the relationship!

Stage 4. Climbing down from the pedestal.

At this stage of love, you and your partner can face life and battle adversity as a team. You have reached the level of real love, not love held up on romance and passion or stuck together because of the child, but love-based mutual understanding and acceptance of each other.

Stage 5. Working together as a team

Now that you have both embraced each other’s weaknesses and faults along with strengths and desires, you can combine forces and make the world a better place.

Love can be beautiful, but it is far from perfect, nothing worth having comes easy, and love will endure.
